Job Description Summary

Laser Department Lead supervises and coordinates work activities of Laser Operators, De-tabbing Crew and General Labors. Works with Purchasing for stock status and reordering materials based on the current inventory and inventory locations of all plate and sheet stocked materials.  Is responsible for accurate inventory levels for sheet and plate stock. Training of laser operators in loading, cutting, and unloading of sheet and plate stock, keeping department clean, doing general maintenance on the laser, checking nest, driving forklifts and use of overhead cranes. Experience operating Amanda FO3015NT CO2 or any CO2 laser.
